  Surah Al-Hijr (15:9):

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُون

Translation: "Indeed, it is We who have sent down the Qur'an, and indeed, We will be its guardian."

          Surah Al-Baqarah (2:2):

ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

Translation: "This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah."

                  The Quran as a source of inspiration and excellence:

Surah Al-Isra (17:9):

إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ

Translation: "Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable."

Surah Al-Ankabut (29:69):

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

Translation: "And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."

                   The preservation of the Quran:

Surah Al-Fussilat (41:42):

لَا يَأْتِيهِ الْبَاطِلُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ تَنزِيلٌ مِّنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ

Translation: "Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from a Wise, Praiseworthy."

                   The Quran as the source of guidance for Muslims and all mankind:

            Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185):

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ

Translation: "The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion."

            Hadith (Sahih Muslim):

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّـهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ حَبْلُ اللَّـهِ، وَهُوَ النُّورُ، وَهُوَ الشِّفَاءُ"

Translation: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "This Qur'an is the rope of Allah, it is the light, and it is the healing."

                    The Qur'an as the fountainhead of knowledge:

           Surah Al-Alaq (96:1-5):

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

Translation: "Recite in the name of your Lord who created; Created man from a clot. Recite, and your Lord is the most generous, who taught by the pen, taught man that which he knew not."
