Quran’s Miracles and Teachings: "Why Millions Turn to the Quran for Guidance and Inner Peace"
"Quran’s Miracles and Teachings: "Why Millions Turn to the Quran for Guidance and Inner Peace"
The status of the Quran:
الم ذالك الكتاب لا ریب فیہ
Alif Lam Meem. “”This is the Book about which there is no doubt”.
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:1-2)
The word "Dhalika" ذالك means "this", لا "La" means "not", "Raib" ریب means "doubt", "Fihi" “ فیہ” means "in it", and “فی” "Fi" means "is", while "Hi" “ ہی” refers to "it".
In Surah Al-Fatiha, we make a supplication:
"Guide us to the straight path." (Surah Al-Fatiha 1:6)
In response to this prayer, Allah Almighty revealed:
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:2)
The Miracles of Quran:
The book that you are reading is called the Quran. The very word "Quran" itself is a miracle. The term "Quran" means "the book that is recited abundantly". This name carried a prophecy within it: that this book would be recited more than any other book in the world. And this is exactly what happened. The Quran has been recited in every era in such an immense amount that no other book in history can compare to it.
Allah says:
"Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will be its guardian."
(Surah Al-Hijr 15:9)
The Purpose of the Quran:
The Quran explains a fundamental purpose: that human life should be dedicated to Allah. This message is encapsulated in Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful). The essence of the entire Quran is that human life should revolve around the obedience and servitude of Allah.
Surah Al-Fatiha: The Preface of the Quran:
Surah Al-Fatiha serves as the preface of the Quran. In just seven verses, it presents age "mini-Quran", summarizing the knowledge of God, humanity, and the universe. After this preface, the main discourse of the Quran begins.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 5027)
May Allah grant us the understanding and wisdom to learn, recite, and act upon the Quran. Ameen.
Dear Muslims! in this world, every human being needs to know the right and true principles so that they can follow them and lead a life of happiness, peace, and success. Some people attempt to derive such principles using their own intellect and reasoning, but experience shows that the principles we deduce solely through our intellect are not always certain.
For example, consider the question of Allah’s existence or the issue of drinking alcohol. Some say that Allah’s existence is comprehensible through reason, while others disagree. Similarly, some claim that drinking alcohol is beneficial, while others argue that it is harmful. Since human intellect varies from person to person, it is impossible for all intellectual viewpoints to agree upon a single principle.
To resolve this conflict, Allah Almighty states that the Qur’an is a book whose every statement is true, firm, and absolute. Those who seek success should put the truth of the Qur’an to the test through experience.

“The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The best speech is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (ﷺ), and the worst matters are those that are newly introduced (in religion).”
The Truth of a Remedy: A Quranic Perspective:
The test of any remedy’s truth lies in its results. If a prescription is followed and leads to healing, it confirms its effectiveness. The same principle applies to faith in the Quran. The truth of the Quran can be verified by observing its impact on those who follow its teachings sincerely.
Historical Evidence of the Quran’s Truth:
During the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the transformative power of the Quran was evident. The Arabs, once considered the most backward and disunited people, became world leaders in morality, education, governance, and warfare within a few decades after embracing the Quranic teachings.
The Quran changed their character, made them disciplined, and elevated their civilization. This remarkable transformation was not accidental but a direct result of their adherence to the Quranic principles.
Allah says in the Quran:
هو الذي ارسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون
"It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, even if the polytheists dislike it." (Surah At-Tawbah 9:33)
The Modern Confirmation of Quranic Principles
The second proof of the Quran’s truth is that, despite ideological conflicts and failures of various systems, many nations today are turning toward Islamic principles. The economic, social, and moral crises in the world have led thinkers and policymakers to recognize the wisdom of Islamic teachings.
For instance, concepts like interest-free banking, social justice, ethical governance, and family values—rooted in the Quran—are being adopted globally. The Quran’s guidance remains relevant, proving its divine origin.
Allah says:
"And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss." (Surah Al-Isra 17:82)
Hadiths Supporting the Quran’s Transformative Power:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also emphasized the transformative power of the Quran. He said,
"The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 5027)
He also said:
"Indeed, Allah elevates some people by this Book and lowers others by it."
(Sahih Muslim, 817)
These statements highlight that those who follow the Quran sincerely will be uplifted, while those who neglect it will face downfall
The Quran is a divine prescription for all of humanity. Its truth is confirmed through historical evidence and its continuing impact on modern societies. Those who implement its teachings find guidance, success, and peace, while those who abandon it face moral and societal decay.
May Allah grant us the ability to understand and follow the Quran. Ameen.
The Universal Wisdom of the Quranic Principles
The teachings of Islam provide guidance on crucial aspects of human life, including Tawheed (Oneness of God), Dawah (Invitation to Islam), Equality, Marriage of Widows, Prohibition of Alcohol and Gambling, Women's Inheritance, and the Condemnation of Hoarding Wealth. These principles, derived from the Quran, have been recognized and adopted by wise individuals across the world, proving their truth and relevance.
Today, we see that many nations are incorporating Quranic principles into their laws to eliminate societal suffering. However, it is unfortunate that some Muslims have distanced themselves from the Quran, thereby increasing their own hardships. The reality is evident: the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught this Quran to a handful of desert dwellers, and they rose to become the leaders and teachers of the world. This transformation was only possible through adherence to divine guidance.
The Power of the Quran in Shaping Societies
The Quran is a book of wisdom that brings justice, peace, and prosperity to individuals and societies.
Allah states:
"There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book."
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:15)
If we return to the Quran, we too can regain honor, dignity, and success, just as the early Muslims did. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of adhering to the Quran and Sunnah:
تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ أَمْرَيْنِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا مَا تَمَسَّكْتُمْ بِهِمَا: كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّهِ
"I have left among you two matters, you will never go astray as long as you hold onto them: the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet." (Muwatta Malik 1601)
The path to success:
If we seek to reclaim our past glory, we must wholeheartedly follow the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. This will not only solve our problems but also uplift us in this world and the hereafter. Let us embrace the Quran as our guide and transform our lives just as the early Muslims did.
May Allah grant us the understanding and strength to live by His guidance. Ameen.
Purpose of the Revelation of the Quran: Guidance for the Righteous
Dear Muslims!
The phrase "Hudallil-Muttaqeen" هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ consists of the following meanings:
• Huda means guidance.
• Lil-Muttaqeen means for the righteous.
• "Li" means for, and "Muttaqeen" refers to those who fear Allah and lead a pious life.
The complete meaning of this verse is that the Quran is a well-established, straight, and true path of guidance for the righteous. In the previous verse, the authenticity and certainty of the Quran were mentioned, and in this verse, the purpose of its revelation is explained:
The Quran was revealed so that it may guide the righteous towards the straight path and lead them to the ultimate success.
Dear Muslims! from this verse, we understand that the Quran is like a straight road that Allah Himself has prepared for His servants so that they may walk upon it and reach their destination. However, it is evident that a road benefits only those who choose to walk on it and who desire to reach their destination.
Allah says in the Quran:
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَۛ فِيهِۛ هُدٗى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
(“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.”)
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:2)
Hadith Reference:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
إِنِّي قَدْ تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ شَيْئَيْنِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا بَعْدَهُمَا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَسُنَّتِي
(“Indeed, I have left among you two things, and you will never go astray as long as you hold onto them: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah.”)
(Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 2676, Sahih)
This hadith reinforces that the Quran is the ultimate source of guidance for those who wish to tread the path of righteousness.
The Quran—A Timeless Guide for Humanity
The Quran is not just a book; it is a divine revelation that serves as the ultimate source of guidance, wisdom, and truth for all of humanity. Its miraculous nature is evident in its preservation, its unmatched linguistic beauty, and its transformative impact on individuals and societies.
Throughout history, those who have followed the Quran sincerely have witnessed profound changes in their lives—spiritually, morally, and intellectually. It provides answers to life's fundamental questions, offering a clear path to righteousness, peace, and success. Its teachings remain relevant in every era, guiding humanity toward justice, compassion, and devotion to Allah.
In a world filled with confusion, conflicting ideologies, and moral decline, the Quran stands as the ultimate criterion of truth. It invites us to reflect, to seek knowledge, and to apply its principles in our daily lives.
May Allah grant us the ability to understand, follow, and spread the message of the Quran. Ameen.
