Spreading the Light of Quran: A NationwideEducation Initiative
“Spreading the Light of Quran: A NationwideEducation Initiative"
"When a tree's trunk and branches dry up, even if its roots are healthy, pouring water on the trunk and branches for a thousand years won't make them green again. The right way to revive the tree is to water its roots. By doing so, its branches and twigs will automatically become green and flourish with blossoms and leaves.
The life of nations is similar. If we focus on fixing individual flaws to revitalize the nation, we won't achieve any results."
This passage emphasizes the importance of addressing the root causes of problems rather than just their symptoms.
"There was no shortage of evils and misguidance in the Ummah (community) of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him). Morally, socially, and collectively, innumerable diseases had spread to such an extent that it seemed impossible for this Ummah to be reformed.
However, the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) presented the Quran as the sole remedy for all these diseases and guided the Ummah to mold their lives according to its teachings.
The effect of this sacred education was that, just as a vaccine eliminates the germs of various diseases and makes the human body healthy, similarly, the Quranic teachings eradicated all the diseases of the Ummah and gave rise to a righteous and pure society.
“And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.”
“O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.”
“You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah."

“The Quran is a proof for you or against you.”
“Indeed, this Quran is a strong rope; one end is in Allah’s hand, and the other is in your hands. Hold firmly to it, for you will never go astray nor perish after it.”
“Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Judgment.”
From this, we can also conclude that the
Quran and its teachings are a perfect, comprehensive, and healing remedy that can cure all the diseases of the Ummah and has the power to save Muslims from all kinds of evils."
“The preservation of a national identity”
"The preservation of national existence and the blessing of independence and freedom can only be maintained by Muslims if they protect their separate national identity and save it from all kinds of corruption and evils.
To achieve this goal, it is essential to focus on the foundation of Muslim nationalism, just as watering the roots of a tree is necessary to revive its dry branches. The foundation of Muslim nationalism is the spark of religious zeal and sentiment that exists among the children of Islam.
As long as Muslims are imbued with this zeal and sentiment, they will remain followers of a complete and perfect religion, and its spirit will flow through every aspect of their lives. Until then, their national existence will remain secure, and no power in the world will be able to harm it.
The fundamental and real task in this regard is to create a sense of connection between every individual Muslim - men, women, young, and old - and the eternal and timeless word of God. If this is achieved, the preservation of Muslim national identity and their collective future will be ensured forever.
The Reality of Our Efforts
In the name of spreading Islam and Quranic knowledge, various institutions, mosques, and educational centers loudly proclaim their achievements. They claim to have propagated Quranic teachings globally and fulfilled this responsibility to a great extent.
However, what is the reality behind these assertions? A closer examination reveals a stark contrast. In any village or gathering, you will struggle to find even a handful of Muslims familiar with the translation of the fundamental Quranic phrase, "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim" (In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful).
This is a lamentable situation. Despite spending millions of rupees annually, these institutions have failed to make a meaningful impact. The Quran remains inaccessible to the vast majority of our population. Their claims are therefore baseless, deceitful, and misleading.
A clear indication of this reality is that if even a minimal effort had been made to spread the Quran among our people, Muslims would not be in the state of decline and humiliation they are in today. Just as the sun's rise illuminates the universe, the Quran's message should have reached every corner of our society.
"The education of the entire nation"
Currently, the state of Quranic education is such that imams of mosques collect funds from the community all year round in the name of Quranic propagation and education. They then use these funds to teach a handful of useless individuals, focusing on issues that only serve to create sectarian divisions and conflicts.
In today's era, these issues not only hinder the constructive and collective life of the nation but also create permanent rifts between different sects, fostering mutual hatred and hypocrisy.
We ask, is this the system of Quranic education and propagation that is expected to bring prosperity and well-being to millions of Muslims? Can we deny the fact that the existing system has only managed to educate a handful of individuals, barely four to six people, despite the efforts of countless teachers?
We propose a new approach to Quranic education, one that allows the entire nation to learn simultaneously. To achieve this goal, we present three simple principles:
1. Establish Quranic education in every home, ensuring that no one is left without access to this knowledge.
2. Designate a family member to teach the translation of one Quranic verse daily, taking only five minutes.
3. Ensure that this education is free, and no Muslim is required to pay even a single penny.
By implementing these principles in homes, mosques, schools, factories, and shops, we can educate the entire nation within a short period."
We are starting a program to learn one verse of the Holy Quran daily in this blog Insha Allah.
